When I travel for business, the less I carry, the better, but this means smart packing to save space and avoid wrinkling. When I pack my suits in my carry-on, I fold the suit inside-out: hold the suit by the collar, fold the lapels horizontally towards each other inside-out, and then fold this vertically in half.
As soon as I arrive at the hotel, the first thing that comes out is the suit, and after a few hours, wool suits will be wrinkle-free. As for ties, I simply roll them up and put them into my shoes: this saves space and helps the shoes keep their shape.
